Jesus Fest '07 was held May 19, 2007 at the Manahawkin Lake Park from 10am to 7pm. Over 23 churches participated, plus other ministries!
Jesus Fest is open to the public as always. Invite your family and friends for a full day of uplifting music, fun and food.
The purpose of Jesus Fest is always:
- To proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior to our local community.
- To celebrate Jesus' love for us and worship Him publicly.
- To promote unity and fellowship amongst the local Bible-preaching churches of Southern Ocean County according to Psalm 133:1.
Jesus Fest continues to grow bigger and better each year! This year's theme was Noah's Ark. We featured many activities, puppet shows, and music on the timeless true story about how God saved Noah, his family, and the animals! We had live praise bands from the local churches (awesome worship & praise!) playing all day on the main stage. The Unity Choir, made up of members of many local churches, blessed us again. The Kids area featured a giant Noah's Ark, pony rides, petting zoo, and Noah's Ark puppet shows all day. The kids were able to meet and talk with the puppets in between shows. As always, we had Simon Peter's Fishing Hole and face-painting with prizes. Admission and all activities are free at Jesus Fest.
The youth area had various activities
all day (tug-o-war, dunking booth, volley ball and more). You

As always, the churches cooked up all our favorite foods at very reasonable prices. Proceeds benefit the youth groups' and churches missionary projects.
Our keynote speaker on the main stage this year was Messianic Rabbi Jan Rosenberg of the Beth Zion Messianic Synagogue in Jackson, NJ. Messianic Jews have accepted Jesus as their savior and are our true brothers in Christ. Rabbi Jan's passion is to proclaim to the Jews the good news that Yeshua (Jesus) is indeed the Messiah! This gifted man spoke from God's Word in a powerful and captivating style that included songs and Godly humor ("Rabbi in the Hood")!
